Lotus Blossom

I have been wanting to make a quilt with bias binding for so long and finally found this perfect applique project from Pile 0' Fabric. It came together pretty quick and I love how it turned out. This is on my Q4 FAL list.  I wanted to make one more with green background and petals in grey tones, may be in the near future.
Applique petals and bias binding just pressed on to background fabric.
Finished Blossom Wall Hanging

Quilted heavily between petals and wide stippling around.

Backing with hanging loops and corner triangles sewn.

HST Blue Baby Quilt

I have finished one of the Baby quilts I started in November of 2015. It stayed in the closet because I couldn't decide on the backing and binding. Its listed #2 on my FinishAlong goals. I just quilted and bound it in September. The backing is an orange calico fabric from Joann fabrics, I had for almost 5 years and I believe it suits the quilt front.

Q3 Finish-A-Long list

Really, where does the time go. I cannot believe that we are on Quarter 3 and I haven't even finished my Q1 list. But I have been sewing a ton of things that are not on my list. 'Write it down and get it done' has taken a back seat. I somehow feel that this time my sewing will be focused on the list first. Most of it from my Q1, that I didn't finish or even started.
