I finally completed the December block for Sugar Block Club 2013. Its another intimidating paper piece block. I think I am finally getting a hang of it. The rest of SBC blocks found here and here.

Reversible Baby Shoes

I made these cute baby shoes following this tutorial here.

I used a cotton print for one side and  a white fleece for the reversible. It was fun making it.

Another pieced backing.

I finally sewn a pieced quilt back  for my Niece's quilt. I played with some designs and came up with this:

It was really nice to be back with the Creative Saturday group even if it is for a short time and I got to finish piecing this quilt back for the String of Pearls quilt. Carole has taken it with her to quilt it for me on her long-arm machine.
