Lotus Blossom

I have been wanting to make a quilt with bias binding for so long and finally found this perfect applique project from Pile 0' Fabric. It came together pretty quick and I love how it turned out. This is on my Q4 FAL list.  I wanted to make one more with green background and petals in grey tones, may be in the near future.
Applique petals and bias binding just pressed on to background fabric.
Finished Blossom Wall Hanging

Quilted heavily between petals and wide stippling around.

Backing with hanging loops and corner triangles sewn.

Binding done with beautiful Art Gallery Fabrics by Pat Bravo.

  1. Your Lotus Blossom is just lovely! The color shifts are subtly attractive. Peach, gold, deep purple red, and red brown. Wow!
